Praxis Mindful Living provides individual and group mindfulness training programs with the mission to help clients embody their practice in their daily lives. "Praxis" is the term for applying learned principles. We learn about our clients first then tailor the learning, pacing, and modalities to meet the client's personal goals through practical and accessible methods.

About Me

My approach to sharing mindfulness practices is informed by the mix of experience I developed in the Plum Village tradition founded by the venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, Joanna Macy's Work That Reconnects, and Shinzen Young’s Unified Mindfulness, to name a few.

I have coached groups and individuals in mindfulness practices since 2014 and always relish the opportunity to develop individualized coaching programs to address the unique needs of the client. I facilitate in a diverse range of settings & organizations from church groups, non-profit organizations, to corporations. My clients have included Fortune 50 companies, various universities and colleges, and non-profit organizations.

I am experienced in working with individual clients who have complex backgrounds including:

  • Cancer

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Anxiety

  • Post-Concussion Syndrome

  • Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)

  • Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD, C-PTSD)

  • Tinnitus

I obtained my Certified Mindfulness Facilitator training at the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center where I am also an authorized teacher in the Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) modality. I hold a CMT-P designation from the International Mindfulness Teachers Association. I am also Teacher/Trainer in Unified Mindfulness and trainee in Hologenic Breathwork. I have trained in Christian, Buddhist, and secular mindfulness practices and am able to create new and fresh approaches to mindfulness practices.
